WWII US Navy NAF 1092-72 flight Helmet
Brown leather flight helmet designed for U.S. Navy pilots in World War Two. Original label is present NAF 1092 - 73 CONT. NOS. 1020 A H.L.B. CORP. N.Y. Interior is lined with chamois which is a soft leather. The size of this helmet is 7 ?? and still very supple for its age. This helmet is in very good to excellent original condition with rich brown finish with all the extensive stitching in fine and tight shape. This example is missing it chin strap/cup.
