WWII Front-Seam M1 Helmet Identified

This is a very nice example of a genuine WWII Front-Seam flexible bale M1 Helmet made by McCord Radiator, with a Westinghouse liner. This combination is mid war, late 1943 / early 44 made. This is a correct McCord front seam painted with Corporals Stripes, an excellent exterior, flexible body loop chin strap, green straps, painted steel hardware, correct chin strap with a light presence of oxidation on the interior surface. On the inside of the Westinghouse liner, is the name and Serial Number of Corp. of Engineers corporal "Walter C. McKinney 14008304" of Alabama who volunteered 11/1940 at FT JACKSON COLUMBIA SOUTH CAROLINA. The high pressure plastic liner is complete and matching, has complete but torn leather chin strap, wedge buckle chin strap loop w/ stud riveted to the liner, rectangular metal washers, correct leather head band and a "A.M Stay Co." size Medium, neck band which is a 1943 contract. This is an excellent example of a personally named WWII US M1 Helmet.
