Excellent WWII Canadian Air Raid Mk2 Helmet

The Brodie helmet is a steel combat helmet designed and patented in London in 1915 by John Leopold Brodie. These WWII Canadian Air Raid Mk2 helmets were made of magnetic steel and their chin- strap lugs were spot-welded, rather than riveted, to the brim. This helmet was made by G.S.W, General Steel Wares. of Toronto with the lining produced by the Viceroy Manufacturing Co. in Toronto. This Canadian MK2 helmet is marked D.P. & H. which stands for Canadian Department of Pensions, Health, and Welfare (DP&H) The helmet is in excellent overall condition with original paint and finish. The helmet liner is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear, marked 7. The rubber and foam parts are pliable and soft. The chin strap is also above par with a good elastic spring to it function. Please see pictures for further details.
